The PdOC Society is very excited to invite Cambridge postdocs to the first of a new series of Interdisciplinary Lectures on Monday 21 October followed by Formal Hall at Robinson College.
The kick-off theme is "Energy" and we have been very lucky to have Prof David MacKay presenting this fascinating interdisciplinary topic of research. Professor MacKay, acclaimed author of "Sustainable Energy Without The Hot Air", is the Regius Professor of Engineering at the University of Cambridge and Chief Scientific Advisor to the Department of Energy and Climate Change.
The ‘Crossing the Barriers’ lecture series aims to promote University of Cambridge postdoc research visibility by offering an environment to exchange ideas, concepts and views across different fields of research
Postdocs from all disciplines are invited to come to the lecture and afterwards for dinner at Robinson College. Tickets cost £22 for a welcome drinks reception, three course meal and wine.
